Overview
Visit San Antonio previously had no dedicated mobile experience for visitors planning trips or navigating the city in real time. I identified an opportunity to expand engagement beyond the website, evaluated a vendor solution through a Simpleview partnership, secured executive buy-in, and helped lead the organization’s first-ever mobile app launch.
The project introduced a new digital engagement channel designed to support travelers throughout the full visitor journey, from trip planning through on-the-ground exploration.
The Opportunity
The organization’s digital experience was heavily web-dependent, leaving no centralized mobile platform for travelers seeking real-time information, itinerary planning, or location-based discovery while visiting the city.
I identified a mobile app solution that integrated directly with the existing Simpleview CRM infrastructure, allowing content and business listings to remain dynamically updated without requiring additional manual management workflows.
